Trump Takes Aim at U.S. Air Traffic Control Spending (and other things)
U.S. President Donald Trump lamented what he called an out-of-date U.S. air traffic control system on Thursday, but also criticized current modernization efforts as the "wrong system" and too expensive. "I hear we're spending billions and billions of dollars, it's a system that's totally out of whack," Trump told a meeting of airline and U.S. airport executives, referring to the air traffic control system. Ah. Third grade hyperbolic nonsense. Must be important.
So spending 10 billion at year to operate the ATC system is acceptable but 3 billion over 10 years to execute the massive upgrade is too expensive. Makes sense...
He will try to privatize and we will pay like most other countries fir IFR services at the least and probably landing fees as well
I wonder....is there ANY AREA Trump WON'T FRIGGIN' CRITICIZE, AND YET WON'T HELP, ONLY THREATEN TO HURT?
Yes. There must be one. Somewhere.
There is no such thing as zero probability. But your question pushes that limit.

I didn't see mention of possible ATC privatization inthis article, but other coverage indicates that it was also a topic:
