$600B for DOD and a Vet has to wait 6 months to see a doctor for testing. What is wrong with this picture?

The big wigs that continue to propose practical and still useful aircraft retirements are not interested in "defense", they are interested in "spending".

Maybe the USAF ought to give the hogs to the Army. What with the Navy and Marines doing most close air support these days, all that the USAF would have left is bombers and missles. They ought to be able to handle that. And I'm a UAF vet, but they have just let the other services run them over in duplicating services.
