Jack Pelton Steps Down As CEO From Cessna Aircraft
Textron Inc. announced on Monday that Jack J. Pelton, chairman, president and CEO of its Cessna Aircraft unit, has retired from the company, and that a search for his successor is underway. I know Cessna's current CFO and man, it is an amazing thing to have connections.
I wonder what he did? CEO's don't usually 'retire' without succession plans in place and all announced in advance. This announcement was made after the fact.
