Japanese F-2 (F-16) After Tsunami

I'm sure it's damaged.

clint605 you bet its damaged just look at the nose and i bet the right wing is messed up bad

its toast. saltwater will eat it up. its a fly-by wire aircraft. i would not fly it.

undamaged? Feel free to use who ever wrote that. I ll watch and pray.

patrick so far i have seen everybody say the jet is damaged and i sure would not want 2 fly a jet that damaged

Mark, I was referring to the caption : Picture of Japanese F-2 fighter after tsunami appears relatively undamaged after flood waters moved it into a building.

But who knows, a turn of the key and it might start

just the salt water is bad,for the plane.

SINCE THE CANOPY IS DOWN THE KEY IS PROBABLY LOCKED INSIDE...

I am surprised it did not get towed away..parked like that :-)

WONDER IF THEY HAVE ONSTAR?

Has anybody heard how many of those hundreds of cars and the few planes that were swept along with the tsunami are salvagable? Haven't seen any report on ships and boats either.
