Good news for Boeing,good news for Flair Airlines.
If they could have gotten them, the Airbus 220 seems to be a better fit, given the limited distances between destinations.
Range capabilities of 737 MAX 8 and both A220 variants are similar. Since Flair already operates 737NGs they get at least some fleet commonality advantage by selecting the MAX.
