Transport Canada working with other regulators to co-ordinate Boeing 737 Max return to the skies

送信時刻:

Transport Canada is working with other aviation regulators worldwide to co-ordinate their approval of the Boeing 737 Max returning to skies, a move seen as critical to restore travellers’ faith in the jet, Transport Minister Marc Garneau says. While Boeing claims the troubled jet will be ready to resume commercial services in January, Garneau is offering no promises and insists Canada won’t be pressured by outside deadlines. The software is a bandaid for a flawed design. Fix the real problem.

Garneau lost Canadians trust when he made the flight regulations to protect the airlines and not Canadians. Boeing lost Canadians trust when they lied and continued to lie to the Canadians even after two crashes! They knew. Now you have Garneau working with Boeing and think Canadians will trust them. I know of no one who will knowingly fly the Max. Yet we know neither have the safety of the people in mind when they spin their next move.

A little dramatic in your wording but overall, basically the truth. The whole situation stinks.

I feel that Mr.Garneau is being very judicial in his opinion of the MCAS/ Max fixes . For instance , Boeing and the FAA seem to be of the mind , that if they say the MCAS is fixed ..Start your engines . But Boeing and the FAA have spent all of their trust and good will . So other Regulators are not so eager to trust . Beyond that , Mr.Garneau is saying , no Max will fly , until Flight Crews have received , in class training and Simulator training . At least in Canada that will delay the return of the Max by Canada's 3 Airlines that have it . What i don't know is this the opinion of other Regulators ? Also on another note , lets say that US carriers start flying the Max with-out Canada's blessing . Will those Max be allowed in Canadian Airspace ? .....Lots to consider .....DGR
