Perhaps move first class to the rear? Fewer seats mean less weight.

One impact of COG is controlability limits. As new, physically larger engine have to be installed ahead of the wings of A320neo and 737Max the COG changes. This could be a result of the investigations of the 737Max troubles.

So is the FAA and EASA gonna ground them indefinitely until they can prove its airworthiness??

according to airline accountants, profitability occurs within the last handful of passengers, surely within the number being denied seating do the CG dilemma. One solution occurs: weigh each passenger prior to boarding, enter the weights into a weight/balance/cg profile, then seat them accordingly, perhaps the lightest in the rear seats. It messes up the extortion racket the companies use to charge higher fares for specified seating, but the devious airline managements will quickly find a way to make it work for company advantage whilst filling the cabin with paying customers/cattle.
