Saudi Arabia's state airline will suspend all flights to and from Toronto starting next week, amid a intensifying diplomatic row between the two countries following Canada's refusal to back down from comments in defense of human rights inside the Kingdom. (edition.cnn.com) さらに...
Nothing like getting into a pissing match with the Saudi’s over human rights! However the King will disrupt the education process of 16,000 students just to exercise his power. So much for the New King’s liberal thinking! Maybe Canada should close the oceanic airspace they control in the North Atlantic to all Saudi aircraft forcing a much longer/expensive route to North America......but hey that’s not the Canadiian way.
King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud ascended the throne in January 2015 following the death of his half-brother, King Abdullah. He was Abdullah's crown prince and had taken on some of the ailing king's responsibilities.Apr 29, 2015.
Perhaps the government of Canada is getting a taste of the results of its own political correctness? At the end of the day, this is a very small percentage of air traffic between Riyadh and major Canadian cities. This story will most liekly die on the vine. BTW, Saudi Arabia is not going to alter their laws based on the protestation of one country. However if several nation's governments do this, then SA may have to fall in line.
Canada grants citizenship to someone already in prison then demands extradition. Thats what happens when you have a failed part-time drama teacher as PM
This changes the life of the average US or Canadian citizen how? Frankly, I could give a shit less what they do in the Middle East. I dont care about their people, their governments, or their Gods.
Now that we (in the US) have leadership that will allow us to be more self-sustaining, the middle east matters that much less.
I still cant figure out why past US leaders did not simply carpet bomb Iraq and then keep it for ourselves as a sovereign US territory and pump pum pump the oil...
