The thing about European companies is that they make really good-looking cars, but not so good-looking airplanes. The only exception is Pilatus.

BUGATTI A BIG DREAM FOREVER!

A beautiful wing design like the German Habicht glider - but with it comes a very bad characteristic of nasty wingtip stalls.

Reminds me of their cars. Overdone, overpriced, and a lot to do about nothing.

Uninformed and shallow, Wallace24. Get the facts, then post. This is a huge undertaking by a few dedicated and talented individuals.

No slack here Toby. Lol. 2.5 mil for a Bugatti. 200k for a Ford GT that will out do it in most categories. Everyone has their opinion of every airplane and every car.

Bugatti? Just looking at the tail are you sure it's not a Bonanza?
Heja
The Rudlicki's V-tail was patented in 1930.

Rudlicki's? I thought it might be another old Fokker!

I would love to help support this project BUT! It appears the principals behind it will accept only one's CREDIT CARD number. There appears to be no way to send a check. Sorry, but I rarely give my credit card number to strangers - no matter how well-intentioned they claim to be.

Get a discover card. They have a feature called "secure online account numbers" that lets you easily create a new, totally valid CC number, that once used, can only be used by a single merchant. Any other use (if your CC number got stolen from their database) is automatically declined, and if you want to shut off that CC number, it's really easy to do by calling Discover.

I really love it. A year ago or so, discover discontinued their Secure Online Account Number program, only to bring it back after a couple of months, so it must have been more popular than they thought. Since at the end of the day I'm not responsible for paying fraudulent charges on my card, using the SOANs is mostly so that I don't have to deal with the hassle of cancelling my credit card, but I still really like it.

I also use it to sign up for "free" trials, where they won't charge your card if you cancel within the first 14 or 30 days, but require a valid credit card up front. After I sign up, I shut off the SOAN, and then they can't charge me for something I don't intend to keep using after the trial.
