Hawaiian's A330-800 order remains in place, for now: airline

Do you smell something. It looks like a cow pie, shine it up and you have a polished Txxx. Methinks Boeing is jerking everybody around after losing their case against Bombardier. Their court tossed out the 300% duty on all Bombardier Aircraft sales in the United States. This really reeks of someone's dirty tricks department. If Boeing had played-it straight all of the collateral damage they sustained really angered the Canadians, Irish, British and a huge chunk of the E.U. They've got to get a new product into the market. Up until now they have just tweaked existing programs and failed to really bring anything new to the Industry.
this is not about cow or any other brand of pie. The airbus ofering is markedly inferior to the 787-9, and it is really that simple. Hawaiian airlines can fill the dreamliner, to their great advantage over this airbus. Airbus a300-800 is not selling as predicted because it is inferior to the boeing competitor dreamliner, so another miscalculation of the market by Airbus.
Customers can be very fickle with new purchases. Hawaiian Airlines was wise not to jump to quickly. The Boeing 787 is great aircraft for airlines and pilots but they sure suck if you are a passenger stuck in economy. The 330's are comfortable aircraft the 787's are not.
