An Eastern Airlines repatriation flight from New York to Guyana ended up getting stuck in the mud at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport just shortly after landing. (www.gatechecked.com) さらに...
"Mr. Patroni, she won't take much more!" "Well, She's gonna get it! Hold on we're going for broke!" "The instruction book said that was impossible. Well, that's one nice thing about the 707, she can do everything but read!"
“Who do ya think you're talking to, some kid that fixes bicycles? I know every inch of the 707! Take the wings off this and you could use it as a TANK! This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.”
She was born in Guyana and still has some family there. A lot of them have emigrated years ago as did she and are living mostly in New York, Atlanta, and Florida. Some of them bounce back and forth between the States and Guyana, that's why I made that comment. Due to the COVID19 many of her remaining family were unable to travel from Guyana to the States for her funeral. Eventually after we're cleared for regular flying from here to there I will finally get to visit Guyana to spread her ashes. I've always wanted to visit, just a messed up reason to go there.
