....for a while there, I thought this was an aviation forum.....

it's the same way at business/finance web forums. you have to know which country is shia and which is sunni. so intertwined is the petrodollar in international markets. you will also get this type of commenting as the boeing kerfuffle over aircraft sold to iran under sanctions continues.

Inside information; The gouvernement from Saudi Arabia was hackt. And the track run Lina rekta to Qatar's secret service. How stupid you can be. Donald also said that Qatar support Hamas and Hezbollah. One and One is two.

They got what they deserved Qatar has been supporting Hamas and Hezbollah for years. It's unfortunate that it affects the people of this authoritarian regime but since the government funds the airline it, unfortunately, has to be banned too.

As a Westerner I'm sure that I will never understand all the subtleties and intrigues between the various factions of the Islamic world. Like other religions, it often seems so petty and childish.

Forced female genital mutilation. Beheading family members. Executing gays (by throwing them off rooftops!) simply for being gay. So "petty and childish," huh?

Which is terrorism - petty or childish? Which other religions are similarly "petty" and "childish?"

To varying degrees? Almost every religion is petty and childish, as well as encouraging and enabling of terrorist attacks.

I would ask you: Which religion HASN'T been responsible for terrorist attacks or other atrocities like you speak of? Let's just restrict it to the last 50 years to make it a little easier for you. :)

This is just flat wrong. I am pretty sure the right thinking people of the Middle East do not support the criminal activities of so-called religious organizations. Just like in the United States local governments actually pay gang members to behave in their areas, Qatar may be paying to be left alone.

The ability of people to travel should not be abridged because of political disagreement, possibly triggered by poorly worded remarks by Pres. Trump.

Right. And the heads of people should be allowed to remain on their shoulders, even if they're of a different religion; people should be forced to practice free flight from rooftops because of their sexual orientation; women shouldn't be forced to have their genitals sewn up.

But maybe you don't see it that way: maybe you believe the infidels SHOULD all be killed...

"Right-thinking?" You do realize that these Middle East countries are Theocracies, right? Their governments are BASED on religious ideologies, not secular laws, right? you DO get that, don't you?

Liberals- gotta love them: they hate you for what you aren't, and excoriate you for what you are... especially when in inconveniences them.

First, everything was Bush's fault. Now, it's Trump's turn. Gee, did we miss someone in between? Hmmmm...someone whose 8 years in office did nothing to stem the tide of terroris-, I mean, to stem the tide of "political disagreement?"
