Idaho to New York, non-stop in a Cessna 525
Tamarack Aerospace Group's NOTAMS blog reports on flying their CitationJet 1,878 nautical miles non-stop. (www.tamarackaero.com) さらに...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Congratulations Tamarack... So exciting to see your success... celebrate and keep flying higher!
If you want a newer airplane, that's the way to do it. If you want to spend less money and not sit on the edge about fuel, and don't care about flying an older airplane, a LR-36 is the way to go. Acquired cheap, built like a tank, and does the job in a way that no other Bizjet could match.
Ok so who really wants to sit in a CJ for six hours?
I think you're missing the point. It’s not whether you can stand sitting in a CJ for 6+ hours. It has everything to do with fuel management, and your ability to "round trip" fuel. This would allow you to save money on fuel as well as time.
Not to mention your ability to handle ATC constraints, like re-routes, enroute holding, etc.
I sat in a 35 for 5:47...
Bet you cover more ground than I do in that time.
