Manchester airport to dump naked scanners

You never know when the Duchess of Cambridge may show up. Then it becomes a bit of a 'slippery slope' as it were.
I looked at her pics on the net after seeing it on the news. She needs to keep her day job.
Major dollars wasted. Little research done before rushing to market.
Unfortunately I fear that the TSA will grasp on to these intrusive pieces of techno-crap at all costs lest some bureaucrat admit making a bad decision.
They were a waste of money to begin with, the people who are likely to be carrying something that these were Intended to find were able to bypass them for "cultural" reasons anyway.
I guess there were no former politicians or former officials (named Chertoff) involved in the intitial decision. What a profound waste. Another prop in the security theater. Sounds like common sense prevails in other places.
