Collins Aerospace cutting dozens of jobs this month

Collins Aerospace announced late last week the elimination of 37 positions by the end of the month. A spokeswoman tells Iowa's News Now the cuts will affect the Mission Systems division of the company and the cuts will take effect at the end of the month.

Collins Aerospace is the Corridor's largest private employer with about 9,400 employees in the area. The company has been working to cut hundreds of millions in costs as military-related work has slowed.
