Is this plane empty do you think? How much does a repositioning flight cost the airline? Could they fill it up and charge $50 a seat or something just to pay for fuel? I'd pay just for the hell of it!

Great photo of a classic aircraft. I agree with Mark Thomas. Looks like a lightweight max takeoff. I did that once out of ORD to EWR and we began at SEA. No fuel at ORD - lots of passengers got off and very few got on. Kind of knew a hot takeoff was on the books. What a hoot!

Thanks for your comments guys. Yes aircraft empty minimum fuel for perhaps a 30min flight. Very impressive!
