Last time I was on one of these (I believe it was a 440 with Wasp engines) was a little Metro Airline that flew from Houston TX. to Greenville Mississippi stopover, then to destination Monroe La. back in 1983. The seat I was in had water pouring out of the A/C vents and soaking the seats under some of the vents, I actually enjoyed the piston flights, and have enjoyed them sine my first commercial flight from Houston TX to Pittsburgh PA. back in 1960 in a Super Connie. So cool, although I remember it because I asked the stewardess if I could see the pilot, and she escorted me up to the flight deck to watch the pilots for a few minutes. I was only 5, but I remember it like it was yesterday...
