HA-LIX —
Comments
This aircraft with a Hungarian civil registration of HA-LIX is reported to be the last remaining airworthy Lisunov Li-2 in Europe.
Jobeard - great info!!! Few might realize that there was also a license built version of the Douglas DC-3 in Japan. This was the Shōwa L2D and the Nakajima L2D. Both were designated as the Navy Type 0 Transport. Also, both were given the Allied code name of "Tabby".
The Lisunov Li–2 is the Russian licensed version of the successful American Douglas DC–3
