So I'm trying to understand this, and maybe it's easy, but is the 787 a good plane because it was a 'new' design, and the 737 Max is having issues because it is a 737 with bigger engines tied on to it?

It makes me happy. Looks like a morning arrival, people getting ready to explore a new place. I remember coming in over the London countryside, blinking sleep out of my eyes, and all excited to see a new country. Such an awesome trip.
