I had the great privilege of touring the interior of "FIFI" when she visited Cheyenne WY in August 2016. Later I watched (and heard!) her take off. What a great airplane. Gives me goosebumps to remember it.

I hope that they bring Fifi to FLorida one winter to keep her warm and let us fly in her. I have flown in all the Collins aircraft and would gladly pay $1000.00 for a flight in the B-29.

Ooh! Sorry folks, gotta brag. FiFi's winter overhaul 2015-2016 included removal, refurbish, and replace of both all the engine cowls and all wing leading edges. I had the privilege of assisting. This photo high lights both the areas where I was able to contribute, Outboard of #1 LE and #2 Cowl reinstall. They are still looking good. :)
