Presumably in Malta !
HAC Spitfire BM597 in its blue Malta scheme is easy to find on internet !

Spitfire BM 597: part of the Historic Aircraft Collection, this picture was almost certainly taken in Malta.I would say that this is a temporary colour scheme for whatever it was doing at the time. Put the number into Wiki to see her in her usual colours.

Yes, it was taken in Malta in September 2005, and was flown from the UK with a Hurricane Mk12 (See my other pictures for Photos of it). It was painted in the much argued "Blue Malta Scheme", which has numerous forums and theories especially among scale modelers as what color was the blue exactly.
