Boeing B-29 Superfortress (N69972)
"Doc,' a fabulous-looking B-29, touches down in the dinner hour at Minden Tahoe Airport.
My sincere Thanks to Frank, Bobbi, and Thomas for permitting me to be at the runway's edge for Doc's arrival.

Even tho it was around 20 minutes to 6 (PM), it was still hot and the heat was coming up from the ground, resulting in a bit of heat shimmer. And no, there was no water on the runway.
With that amount of evident heat, it's a darn fine shot to not have 'Doc' completely distorted. Great pic all round to have a scene, not just a plane. I reckon most shooters would go for a big zoom on the plane and miss the beauty around it. Well done sir.
