On short final for 34L as it is arriving from Sky Harbor in Phoenix (KPHX).

Looking down on this Mesa Airlines CRJ from the top of Rattlesnake Mountain. This was the last aircraft to land on 34L before the tower reversed runways. An inbound Pilatus that was just in front of this CRJ encountered severely turbulent crosswinds as it was descending past Mt Rose. The passengers in the Pilatus were jostled around badly enough that, although uninjured, they were frightened and upset. The Pilatus landed safely followed by this ASH flight and then the tower reversed runways and began using 16R for arrivals and departures.
