The E-2 Hawkeye - affectionately known as the "Hummer" by the US Naval Aviation community.
Having seen a Hummer(s) in person, Gary, you should have no problem determining how the E-2 acquired that nickname!

I remember when the NP 2000 prop was a concept then a prototype. All the services wanted it, especially the Navy. I recall this being a well integrated fleet improvement!
