What an adrenalin surge as this monster seemed to be about to touch down right ON us. And it was so low that the vortex swirls made a very loud whoosing sound almost like a passing freight train and were actually shoving us around left and right and back across the ground so that it was completely impossible to stand steady. (One of us got knocked on to his keester.) Now we have some idea what it must be like to stand on Maho Beach when the jets land at Princess Juliana.
It was frickin' AWESOME.
