What are the hook's on top of the wing
The "hooks" are vents for the 4 fuel tanks in the upper wing Roland. You can see the 4 fuel caps, 2 in the center section and 2 in the outer panels.

Oh, OK. This is one of the "new breed" Wacos? Jacobs engine? A 275 hp I assume? Is Bill Goldman over in Payson, AZ still the source of Jacobs engines? Beautiful airplane.
Absolutely perfect!
Two thoughts here, Daniel. First, spectacular photo. Terrific composition, and then the density of the colors. Second, you look at a picture like this and the machine is so perfect you almost ask 'what was the need to evolve beyond this?' What's the point of improvement past something this spectacular?
