Made by Carpenters ... Joiners... and CABINET MAKERS... the aircraft was not called the "WOODEN WONDER" for nothing... Trust the Brits to go back to making aircraft like the ones in the FIRST World War...

Carlos the aircraft ( there are two of them complete) are at the Mosquito Aircraft Museum, near London where they were originally made... they are in flying condition BUT it cost £7 MILLION pounds of Public Money to get the last AVRO Vulcan in the Sky.... there just is not enough spare money in peoples pockets to get all our old aircraft airborne... the Government will NOT HELP AT ALL, they would sooner give money to the Poor Chinese... and to help keep the Royal Ballet operating... Good Old England.....!!
