Hi Murphy, thanks for patiently waiting for the right time to this great shot.
Good to see the old girl still bringing home the science! I got to watch some of her early build-out in Waco, such a long long time ago.
She did one more flight the following night and then the next day was damaged after strong winds blew ground equipment into it's pitot tube. The SOFIA blog states the repairs will be done in three weeks and then heads back to Palmdale to complete her final sorties before retirement.
