Thankyou for your comments. No, I was on the ground when I took this shot. Very slow shutter panning shot. 1/30th from memory, but might have been slower. Not many keepers at that ss, but better than frozen rotor syndrome. :)
I think that the Canadair CL-84 Dynavert was the first aircraft of this sort. There is one at the museum at YCWG and the Dynavert cockpit will be open to guests on Feb 24.

Every time I look at one in flight I marvel that it can actually get in the air!
These things are so safe that every Senator and General should be assigned one as a personal airfcraft.
