Pilot Sues SF Airport Over General Aviation

Hi Mr. aknorris - WAKE UP - WE ARE ON THE SAME SIDE ! Looks like my sarcasem escaped you. My fault - my apologies for not being clearer.

Yes - I am prejudiced - against bureaucrats ! Combine a bureaucrat who has a job in an airline-related activity, with a "flier"....and what happened to that guy at KSFO is a predictable result !

Of course I am not prejudiced against airliner passengers! I have been one myself from time to time.

When I use the term "flier", I am referring to a certain type of "wanna-be" who may or may not have actually ridden in an airplane. Who is justifiably overwhelmed with how exciting an experience aviation is..... - heck - aren't we all every time we yell "clear" and hit our primers....!)

The problem is - those relatively few who single out us in general aviation for their frustrations at only being bystanders to the miracle of flight.

Of course I don't know whether the particular bureaucrat in question is a "flier" - but my prejudice suggests...he is - he gets his glory out of sucking up to the airline business & having a connection to it ; expresses his jealously and resentment of us in general aviation by screwing us up any way he can.

Be assured I am NOT new to the endless struggle of those actually in aviation, who just want to be left alone, and the "fliers" of the world who resent us, write, post, publish etc. any kind of nonsense just to show how much they resent us.

As I noted elsewhere...all over the country, we are losing airports - aviation (except for the commercial airlines) is being driven out, airports closted...etc...etc. ( its been happening in Canada too....! )

That is why I proposed my "solution" - let this guy have KSFO....make his buddies pay for it !

We both know if the actual cost of taking an airline seat thru the sky was paid for by the person sitting in it, not supported by us taxpayers.....we'd have a lot less "fliers" annoying us !
