Congresswoman to Air Force: Put down the tuba, pick up a gun
"If we really had a manning crisis, from my perspective, we would really tell people to put down the tuba and pick up a wrench or a gun," McSally said at a House Armed Services Committee hearing at which Defense Secretary Ash Carter and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Joseph Dunford testified....I cannot image anything more delightful than watching a lady pilot who has been there rip apart two politician/bureaucrats. We need more like her. The current regime, ash carter and the newly created puppet general staff will never admit that the deficiencies in our military are unrelated to funding. DDE said it best a long time ago. Beware the military industrial complex. And seems to me he was a relatively high ranking military guy before a prolific and successful political career. Ahhh leadership with integrity, where did it go? (rhetorical question)
And the present administration didn't want to call it terror or label anything We have drawn down our military might and now some see us as weak due to it and our policy's say what you want but there have been in previous administrations build ups not tear down and give to the homeless.
WRONG!
The bands are essential to recruiting. In many commumities, visits from the military bands are highlights of their respective years. Just sounds like sour grapes from yet another fighter pilot who thinks the world revolves around them only! Let us all hope she loses the election this fall.
Whoops, I should have said "would be fighter pilot." She flew A-10s...

Thought long about this reply...ask the thousands of troops on the ground that would be dead if not for the A-10, "Would they want the air support or a band playing taps". Stack up "Fighters" from 5'00 to 35'000 feet and they would still be dead.
Kudos!
A blast from the past, you lost!
