Chinese regional jet takes flight, but future remains unclear

Could China's first jet use domestic demand to catapult into the global market?

ZHUHAI, China -- China's first homegrown passenger jet took to the skies at an air show this week, but with most of the demand coming from China itself, it's unknown whether the plane can find success in the global market.

     The state-owned Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China completed the test flight of its ARJ21 regional jet Tuesday at the show in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.
