Antonov An-225 Mriya (UR-82060)

The big Antonov makes an evening takeoff on runway 36C at Charlotte, North Carolina USA. The world stopped while everyone who could came out to witness the takeoff this huge aircraft. We collectively held our breath and when it rotated everyone was cheerful and happy and talking to each other about their mutual experience of a historic moment. Then abruptly, it was business as usual. After a short pause while any wake turbulence dissipated, a commuter jet blasted off and it was back to work for people who can still dream.
