Need more precise usage of the tool in photoshop, polygonal lasso. You won't have the white outline that is plaguing you.
after image selection reduce the image size by approximately 2-3 pixels (exact amount only comes via experience or trial and error) Feather outline by same number of pixels. Dont sharpen too much or white rim will appear as per yours. Your cloning needs some work. Best to select and stamp on a separate layer, soften and stamp. I dont know how to make this comment private, apologies. I began with the very first iteration of P'shop so the manipulation work simply jumps off the page at me. Regards
